I love this lighthouse at Heart's Content....built in 1901, it is located on the rugged coast of Trinity Bay, Newfoundland. Not far from this lighhouse is the location of the landfall of the first transatlantic cable which successfully carried a telegraph signal from Queen Victoria to President James Buchanan on August 16, 1858.
