"We stayed in this beautiful lighthouse keepers cottage on Kangaroo Island. Totally remote... over an hours drive to the nearest shops and in the middle of a national park so no neighbours apart from the wallabies. It was fantastic to read accounts by people who had grown up as lighthouse keepers children in the '30s, and to light the old wood stove!"
